Hotel Kodmon ****

Location

The hotel is situated in one of Eger's most popular tourists centers, in the Valley of Beautiful Woman. The valley of the famous wine and culture attracts tourists all year round, the wine cellars and bars can be approached with a short walk. The storied cellar line proves to be a real speciality, it is situated only about 150 meters from the hotel. The historical city center is about 2 km from the hotel and can be reached on foot or by bus.

The two-storey hotel was built in 2008 and meets all demands, elevator and reception are available. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles (free of charge) in the nearby closed parking lot. The breakfast room is on the ground floor, it can be sectioned into two meeting rooms by using soundproof walls (technical equipment: videoprojector, screen, whiteboard, sound system, podium), the rooms are suitable for maximum 80 persons all together (e.g. smaller conferences and team-building trainings). The wellness section offers a perfect place for recreation, indoor swimming pool (with colour-therapy jacuzzi), Finnish sauna, solarium, aroma-therapy steam cabin, massages, luxury-treatments moreover curing- and regenerating mud treatments pamper guests. Jacuzzi, sunbathing terrace and vitamin-bar await guests in the garden. The famous Kodmon Csarda Restaurant (which has an excellent kitchen and is owner of an EU protector board, situated about 50 meters from the hotel) and the Cafe Habana (about 50 meters) a latin club also belong to the propeties of the hotel. Pets welcome.

Rooms

The stylish, airconditioned Superior rooms have a bathroom (with shower, hairdryer, bathrobes), LCD television, LAN Internet access (can be used free of charge with own Laptop, PC is available upon request), minibar, safe (free of charge) and good night chocolate. Soundproof windows ensure a calm rest. All rooms are non-smoking, carpetted and have a balcony. The Superior lux rooms have the same equipment as Superior rooms, but the bathroom is equipped with jacuzzi bathtub, they have good night chocolate and a bottle of vine. The spacious Suites consist of a living room and a bedroom, they have the same facilities as Superior lux rooms. A disabled room can be booked only from the superior category. Room service is available (between 7.00 am and 22.00 pm).
