Varkapu Guesthouse is located in the historical center of Eger, only 100 meters from the main entrance of the famous Castle. It is a perfect choice for families and friends who would like to discover the city easily, because the guesthouse is within walking distance to many tourist attractions. The beautiful Dobo Square can be found only two streets away from here but you can also find several popular restaurants, shops and bars nearby.

    Guesthouse

    The friendly guesthouse awaits its guests since 2004 offering a friendly atmosphere in an art relic style building. If you arrive by car you can use the closed parking places free of charge. The reception is open from 9:00 am to 22:00 pm. The personnel will help you with all your needs: program organizing, Internet (available in the lobby). The intimate bar in the ground floor offers cocktails and drink specialties. Pets welcome.

    Rooms

    The guesthouse offers basic, comfortable double rooms, which can be equipped with extra beds. One of the rooms is suitable for max. 5 persons due to its larger size. Each room has a private bathroom with shower (one room is with jacuzzi), television (Hungarian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish satellite channels) and minibar. Floors are covered with parquet and partly with carpet. Non-smoking room is available on request. Room service can be requested between 9:00 am and 22:00 pm.
